1) How to auto restart Splunk.
2) How to upgrade Splunk 6.5 to the latest version. we currently have 325 GB license. Any suggestion.

1)You mean you want Splunk to automatically restart if it stops? Need to know what OS you have if so.

On red hat linux. not like when it stops, can i set timing to restart by it self
Why would you want to do that?
Sure edit crontab for the Splunk boot user...
Ex:
sudo -u splunk -i crontab -e
Add an entry in crontab...
0 0 * * * /opt/splunk/bin/splunk restart
Above would restart every night at midnight.
