Do SplunkBase subscriptions still email when a new version of an application is released?

I'm unsure if this relates to some form of email filtering or if the subscription to SplunkBase application updates is no longer working, I have not seen any application update emails for the past few months yet many applications I'm subscribed to have been updated.

Is the subscription system still working as expected for anyone else?

Answered in the comments...it's an issue on my side
EDIT: In case anyone else encounters this issue, the emails never even made it to my junk folder, it was been filtered/blocked somewhere else.

The workaround I am using is a separate Splunk account signed up to the splunkbase application subscriptions.
A Splunk account can have only 1 email address associated with it for everything (Splunk base, Splunk support et cetera) so this was the best option for my case.

I just received an email about an update to one of my apps, so the general answer is yes.

Make sure you are still subscribed to an app. Go to Splunkbase, login, visit one of your app's pages, and see if the "Subscribe" or "Unsubscribe" button appears in the bottom right-hand sidebar. If it says "Subscribe", that would explain the issue (i.e., it does not think you are subscribed).

I've got a list of >10 apps in my subscription list, yet I have not received an email in months.

I suspect it might be the company email system filtering them 😞

Hi garethatiag, I'm an engineer on the Splunkbase team. I just checked our logs and I see subscription emails regularly going to your email address for the last three months. Given that rjthibod has been receiving emails, I think you might be right that your company email system is filtering them. If you want to discuss further, please email the Splunkbase team at splunkbase-admin@splunk.com.
