Hi,
I have created a timechart of 2 time ranges:
index="XXXX" host="XXXX" earliest=-0w@w latest=+1w@w XXXX | eval ReportKey="XXX today" | append maxtime=100 [ search index="XXXX" host="XXX" XXXX earliest=-1w@w latest=-0w@w | eval ReportKey="XXX last week" | eval new_time=_time+86400*7+1800] | eval _time=if(isnotnull(new_time), new_time, _time) | timechart span=1h max(number) by ReportKey
The graph is created properly however when I hover over the last week line, it says the date of today and not the date of last week
Is there any way to fix this? is my syntax is not correct?
Thanks
It will always show the date/time of your primary search. Not the subsearch. Splunk has no built in support for plotting against multiple axis.

Always a pleasure. Btw. if you need more advanced charting and graphing features the only viable option is to extract data via the REST API and build it yourself. Exactly what I'm doing.
Thanks for the quick info
