Do this to update your environment variables and put the splunk bin
in your PATH
:
export SPLUNK_HOME=/opt/splunk
export PATH=$PATH:/opt/splunk/bin
splunk status
Or you could do full path:
/opt/splunk/bin/splunk status
Or you could use .
like this:
cd /opt/splunk/bin/
./splunk status
