Q: Range Marker, What is it? I need to overlay one on a chart. I need a visualization of an average overlayed on my line chart. How is this done?
A: In context of generic charting a range marker is a visualization that highlights value(s) and are designed to work as overlays on top of a bar, column, line or area chart.
For example: Lets plot our flowershop purchases on a chart over time (line graph) . On average purchases range between $500-$700 . Lets overlay that on a chart as a range marker in red. Please see example at:
