After upgrading to 6.5, multi-page dashboard panels no longer go to the first page on auto-refresh

After upgrading to 6.5, if you have a multi-page panel and are using auto-refresh the panel does not auto-refresh to page 1. The dashboard refreshes and stays on the page that you had selected.

This is different from previous versions of Splunk where an auto-refresh would refresh to page 1.

This is an expected behavior change in 6.5 to auto-refresh to the selected page of a dashboard.

If you would like to have similar behavior to previous versions, you can make the following setting changes:

< refresh>30s< /refresh>
< refreshType>delay< /refreshType>
< /search>
< option name="refresh.display">preview< /option>

or make the following change in the GUI for the Dashboard:

Edit Search -> Change Refresh Indicator to "Preview and progress bar"
