console output of jenkins is required in splunk

Hello All,

I have integrated Jenkins to Splunk in order to get my logs of all the jobs in an report format.

In Jenkins there is static job created which will run across 100 of slave nodes concurrently, in that job i am running few commands across the Linux servers, so here i need is to get the output of those commands in a customized dashboard format.

But what i am getting now is just the job status on success/failure.

Can someone guide me on achieving this customized dashboard creation on splunk.

Thank you in advance..

Thank you for the reply txiao, i have tried all the possible way and finally achieved my requirement by sending the input file in JSON format to splunk. Now all i have to work on is automating the process of exporting data 🙂

Installed forwarder agent on the node, placed the .json file on specific location and on inputs.conf file wrote a statement to monitor all the .json files placed there.

[monitor://]
