How to format results sent via sendemail?

Scenario: I am sending results inline with sendemail. Unfortunately, the way it displays (and sends results) in columns, the values get wrapped and make it hard to read. Does anyone know a way to stack the results along the Y-axis rather than the X-axis?

In other words, I want results displayed from:
fld1 fld2 fld3 fld4

1 2 3 4

to be displayed like

fld1 1
fld2 2
fld3 3
fld4 4

Thank you
