Splunk Stream: How to troubleshoot why I don't have any streams when viewing the "Configure Streams" dashboard?

I have all the latest versions of Splunk and the Splunk App for Stream installed on Mac OS Sierra.

When I go into the "Configure Streams" dashboard, I don't have any streams. I have removed and re-added the APP and TA already and I still don't get anywhere.

I'm not seeing anything that stands out in the splunkd.log.

Usually this condition happens when the KV store is not working properly due to expired auto-generated SSL certificate or some other issue.

What's the Splunk Enterprise version you're using?

Do you see anything in $SPLUNK_HOME/var/log/splunk/splunk_app_stream.log or stream_installer.log or mongod.log?
