I have some troubles when I try to install a certificate from DigiCert. When I restart Splunk, the webservice didn't start. I need to install in the ports 8089 (management), 9097 and 8000 (splunkweb); how i do to install correctly?? Must it be the same in all ports???

Click Manage SSL Sites under Install and Manage SSL for your site (HTTPS). Click Browse Certificates after scrolling down to the Install an SSL Website section. Click Use Certificate after selecting the certificate you want to activate. This will automatically fill in the certificate's fields.

Installing the SSL certificate in 6.43 is not that hard but the user has to be informed about the SSL certification and also has to know about the errors that will come while the installation process is happening. Printer Repair Dubai has also had the SSL certificate in the 6.43.

I had this same problem a few weeks ago, I had a cert on port 8000 working great, but had troubles getting it working on 8089

You will need to make changes on server.conf under 2 different stanzas.

To add onto this.. You will edit web.conf to make modifications to port 8000.. You will then need to edit server.conf to make changes on port 8089.. Go to SPLUNK_HOME/etc/system/auth/mycerts and drop your certs in there, then go to SPLUNK_HOME/etc/system/local/web.conf and point to your certs in mycerts directory. You will then need to combine your cert with your private key and point to it in your server.conf
