Welcome Page Creator: How to customize a welcome page and its panels?

I am trying to put up a welcome page for our Splunk Installation and I was able to clone the "Welcome Page" from the "Welcome Page Creator" app into the App that would be the users default. So this brings up the "welcome page" as soon as the user logs in. However I was trying to customize this page a little - especially the panel that points to the email of our Splunk Admins and so on. Even after converting to HTML source, the entire source is not visible and trying to figure out how to do this.
Appreciate any help from the community and ppl who done this before.

Very fair question and thanks for asking. You've exposed a gap in the instructions that can be addressed - so thank you!

Nearly all of the panels in the Welcome Page Creator are Prebuilt panels. Therefore, when you edit a Prebuilt Panel all of the dashboards that use it will be updated accordingly! On the other hand, if you want variations of the Prebuilt panels, you can clone it and make a new prebuilt panel OR convert a prebuilt panel to an inline panel (an inline panel exists only on that dashboard and cannot be referenced or used in other dashboards).
