I have the new Splunk Jenkins app and plugin installed and working on multiple Cloudbees Jenkins masters and it seems to be working as designed.
Here my question: is it possible to configure the master to send the logs for all jobs as the default? It looks like I need to enable individually for each job configuration. With multiple masters and hundred of jobs I would like to avoid the configuration change on each job.
Hi Hal,
I'll be referring to this wiki for the comments below
https://wiki.jenkins-ci.org/display/JENKINS/Splunk+Plugin+for+Jenkins
You actually don't need to do anything the job itself. Step 4 (configuring job) is actually optional
If you have multiple master, simply install the Jenkins plugin on each master. Configure the plugin in each of the master. You only need to configure the splunk server (step 1) and metadata (step 2)
Let me know if this works for you.

Is the Splunk Plugin for Jenkins available? Currently showing no information is available.
Mike,
The jenkins plugin is now available in the jenkins plugin center. Once you install and configure the jenkins plugin, all jenkins related data will be sent to splunk in real-time.
To view all this data in, you can install the Jenkins App or you can also build your own custom dashboards.
Let me know if that helps

Hello Araza,
I have tried using the plugin and configured splunk server, but on step 1 when i try to test the connection i am getting error.
via port 8088: failed: Connection refused (Connection refused)
8000: Unrecognized SSL message, plaintext connection?
8089: token: response:Unauthorized
I am not giving the HTTP input token value as i don't know where to get it from.
So i am stuck here, can you please help me on this issue?
