dbconnect stopped indexing after license expiry

Dear experts,

dbconnect 2 app stopped indexing after the license got expired.
As per my understanding, splunk will continue to index even after license expiry. Does this hold good for dbconnect app also?

It should keep indexing data, check the following log files for more details:

Splunk_Home/var/log/splunk/dbx2.log
Splunk_Home/var/log/splunk/dbx_query_audit.log
