I am writing a custom sql dbxquery. When this custom query executes I want to know when it gets started and when its get completed.Based on that I want to create a performance report of this query
Can some one help me with this ?
If you're running your dbxquery as an adhoc Splunk search, then you can use "Inspect Job" to get the details about search execution including start time and executiontime. Alternatively, this should give your details of the execution. You can get the SID of the search
index=_audit info=completed action=search (id=* OR search_id=*) <<PUT Search SID>>
If you're running your dbxquery as scheduled search, you can use scheduler logs to get the same info.
index=_internal sourcetype=scheduler savedsearch_name="PUT your Scheduled Search Name here"
