Splunk Storm
is dead and so is Nova
but there is a Splunk Cloud
offering but it is pretty constrictive. Most people will be better off simply creating VMs in a cloud and using a standard On-Premises
design in your own private cloud of servers.
Splunk Storm is a cloud-based service currently in beta. See http://www.splunkstorm.com and http://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/Storm for more information. You can also run Splunk in the cloud service of your choice, such as AWS. See http://www.splunk.com/view/cloud-consumers/SP-CAAAGE9, which has a variety of information including a solution guide on Running Splunk in Amazon Web Services.
