Why does Splunk indicate: "Your Splunk license expired or you have exceeded your license limit too many times. "

I started with the trial license and have a total uncompressed raw data size of 0.91 GB. How could this exceed the 500 MB per day limit?

The licensing alerts show a number of entries like below:

This pool has exceeded its configured poolsize=0 bytes. A warning has been recorded for all members

Why is the "configured poolsize" 0 bytes not 500 MB?

Thanks
Aaron

Another one at Trial license to free license poolsize=0?

Apparently, the message This pool has exceeded its configured poolsize=0 bytes "normally" happens when the license changes.

I downvoted this post because where "normally appears" means "search stops working". simple links are better suited for comments.
