Qualys Bad Login / Password

Hello,

We are experiencing credentialing issues with the Qualys TA, receiving Bad Login / Password as the error code. I have checked the URL (https://qualysapi.qg2.apps.qualys.com) and credentials and they’re correct. I checked the local and default folders for anything out of the norm, yet everything is fine. We also have paid for the API accessibility yet still receiving a login error. The KB has downloaded with no problem which is odd...

Sincerely appreciate any help out there...

Thanks and kind regards,

Leo

Leo does the same username/password work when accessing your account's API but not through the Qualys TA? If yes, then there's a problem with the Qualys TA.

You can try resetting your password by going to https://qualysguard.qg2.apps.qualys.com/qglogin/index.html, putting in your username and clicking on "Forgot Password?" right below the Login button.

You can also contact your Qualys TAM or Qualys Support to ensure it's not an issue with your username and password. Regards, John.

Hello lmedina,

Please check which App you installed, there are two apps in Splunk, one is Qualys_TA and one is Qualys App for Splunk Enterprise.
Each one is an independent App, means that each one needs setting up and could download data form Qualys API and no connection between the two; If you set up URL, username etc in Qualys_TA and search in Qualys App for Splunk Enterprise, it won't work.

Thank you!
