Splunk Search

After running a search, why am I unable to see an option "Save As" -> Alert?

hi,

After doing a search, I am unable to see an option "Save As" -> Alert. I have logged in with my User Id. Could this be any permission issue? Can someone guide me how to get that Alert option?

Thanks,
Ram

Saving an alert requires the capability / permission to schedule searches - talk to your splunk admin about having the alerts scheduled for you, or about being granted the schedule searches capability.

I have admin password with me but due to bouncer application as soon as i open the web interface it is logging in with my id. I tried sign out and still interface is not giving me to enter the username as admin. Is there anything i can set these permissions from command line.
