Deployment Architecture

App not being loaded in the web "Forwarder Management"

s0rbeto
Explorer

i upload an app into the master deployment server under splunk -> deployment-apps.
I have seen the other apps.
right after the upload, i check the web gui under the "Settings > Forwarder Management"
a message showing that
"One or more apps are still being downloaded. Pleas refresh later to see up-to-date status of those apps"

its already a day since this message pops out, i also reviewed the permission, i did chmod recursively on the entire app.

I don't know what could cause this app stuck and not being suck by Splunk?

Anyone had this before in the past?

Thanks

Do you mean that you have uploaded the app into the filesystem, and though you can see other apps in the Forwarded Management, you can't see this one?

If that's what you mean, then from a command prompt/terminal do a /opt/splunk/bin/splunk reload deploy-server or C:\Program Files\splunk\bin\splunk reload deploy-server, depending on your OS (and if you installed it in the default location).

See where that gets you!
