What version of Splunk should i use for FreeBSD 7.2 i386?
According to the Release Notes, FreeBSD 7.x is not officially supported. To install Splunk 4.x you will need to install the compatible FreeBSD 6.x libraries. Check out this Wiki page for more information: InstallSplunkOnFreeBSD7
