Hi everybody,

I'm trying to get modal popup from some pie chart in my dashboard.

My objective is to open a popup panel for a detail search.

I found this code :

http://blogs.splunk.com/2014/02/24/using-bootstrap-modal-with-splunk-simple-xml/

but when run it, the icon that should launch the popup disappears.

Can anybody help me? thx

Unfortunately, the code from that blog post is no longer correct. You can however do it just like they propose directly on their page.

This is not a problem with the modal, this is about the right event which causes the modal to appear. You might want to start here and have a look for how to react to drilldown events.
