I would like to refresh rerun searchjob on an interval without refreshing the entire page and stagger the jobs. I know that you can use.

<dashboard refresh="30">

I would prefer not to ask it cause the screen to blink and can take a while to run 8 searches simultaneously.

If you are running Splunk 6.1, you can refresh a specific panel with refresh.auto.interval property
