PDF App is generating an libfontconfig error and not receiving PDF.

You can resolve this error by renaming the 32 bit firefox executable and you will be able to see the errors that the 64 bit version was having, namely that it was missing the libXinerama.so.1 library. Once you add this, your issue is resolved.

If you are on a 64bit OS and are seeing the 32 bit version of firefox running this is a sign that the 64 bit version has a problem. By getting rid of the 32 bit firefox you can actually see the real errors that are going on.

Note: libXinerama.so.1 is freeware
