I made the following change in the xml for several the dashboards.

from:
          <option name="link.visible">false</option>
to:
          <option name="link.visible">true</option>

Thanks,

Rob

FYI, Fire Brigade version 2 will no longer be updated (latest version is 2.0.3). The newer versions 2.0.4 and higher will now be available with the original “Fire Brigade” app on Splunkbase which was just updated to support Splunk 6.3. This is noted on the page for Fire Brigade on Splunkbase:
https://splunkbase.splunk.com/app/1581/

If you have any questions, ping the developer of the app @sowings

Cheers!

Hi Rob,

The change that you made will just Show link buttons at the bottom of the panel.

To make what you want try to use this option: link.openSearch.visible put it at true
To see other options and configurations see:

Thanks, I will test that as well. Overall, I'm hoping to have the next release allow users to open any panel in search. This would make it simpler to drill down to the event data to use for creating alerts and/or creating custom dashboard panels without having to reverse engineer or reinvent the searches from Fire Brigade.
