rumFlume.py can't run if the flume.pid file isen't found. (On new clean installations)
Had to create the file and enter large number '9999' to get it working.
Error message:
runFlume.py"" Execution failed: [Error 2] The system cannot find the file specified

runFlume.py"" IOError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: 'C:\Program Files\Splunk\etc\apps\compuwareapm\flume.pid'
Good find! It would appear the windows decision tree within the start script is not checking for the existence of the file first. We'll get that fixed ASAP.
