Why am I getting error "The license signature is not a base64-encoded string" trying to add my license in Splunk 6.2?

Hello,

We installed the new Splunk version 6.2, but when I want to add my license, I get the error:

Bad Request — In handler 'licenses': web_1424343100.14.lic: failed to parse license because: The license signature is not a base64-encoded string (1)

Please can you help me? I wanted to paste the license file as an attachment, but I'm short on karma points.

Thank you
Best regards,
Nelly

You say you tried pasting it?

Have you tried simply typing it manually?

Or tried re-downloading the file?
