Where to download package using Big Data Analytics (Splunk version 6.2)?

I am trying to find where the download package is available to download.

I am busy with the Big Data Analytics book, and in chapter 2 it mentions "once you have the downloaded package, copy the access.log file"

Please can you assist me in where to get the download package from?

I am currently using Splunk 6.2, there is no access.log file available.

Thank you

There is a download package available for the book. You will need to look within the book (probably near the front) for a link to the download package. That is the package that will contain the access.log as well as the other examples within the book.

To get the download package: http://www.apress.com/9781430257615 - look in the Source Code/Downloads tab below the description.

You have to go to this link: http://www.apress.com/9781430257615 - then click on the Souce Code / Downloads tab about halfway down the middle of the page, then click the Download Now link (this might start the download automatically for you: http://www.apress.com/downloadable/download/sample/sample_id/1425/). Once you extract the zip file, all of the files associated with the chapters that have hands-on exercises will be there.

Thank you for your response. I have gone through the beginning of the book... now on Chapter 2, and have not seen the link to download, would you be able to assist me further, could you perhaps send me the link?

Thank you
