Reporting

Is it possible to access Splunk Web without a username and password for users to directly access reports?

Hello,

I would like to create some public dashboards on splunk and open them up without any restriction. In order to get there i need to bypass or get rid of the login page.

Anyone know if its possible to get rid of the login page and get users to connect directly to the various reports without having to log in ?

Thanks in advance,
Best regards,
David

Hi DavidHourani,

starting Splunk 6.1.x you can created embedded reports http://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/Splunk/6.2.1/Report/Embedscheduledreports . It is not possible for dashboards though, but at least it will show you a way to share reports without the username/password.

hope this helps ...

cheers, MuS
