maxWarmDBCount per indexer or per cluster?

Hey all,

Just wondering if I have maxWarmDBCount=500 in my indexes.conf on our 4 peer cluster (RF:4 SF:4) then what does this exactly mean?
Will I have 500 warm buckets / indexer so in total I'll end up 2000 buckets across the 4 peer nodes OR this means that 500 warm buckets maximum over the cluster so that (if it would be perfectly balanced) I would end up with 125-125-125-125 warm buckets on the peer nodes.

Apologies but it was not fully clear for me from the documentation.

Splunk version: 6.1.4

Thanks,
Tamas

its 500 warm buckets / indexer but these buckets may be identical (replication factor)with other indexer.
