SNMP Modular Input: Why is the dashboard showing a 404 Not Found error and "Splunk cannot find the 'dailyreview1' view"?

Morning Guys

I have just installed the SNMP_TA app Ver 1.2.6 onto Splunk 5.0.2 on a windows Indexer,

Splunk has been restarted and the install was successful apparently !!! when navigating to the app I get the beloved white screen of death with an error as follows -

404 Not Found

Return to Splunk home page
Splunk cannot find the "dailyreview1" view.

This page was linked to from https :// My Server: My Port/en-GB/manager/splunk_deployment_monitor/apps/local.

I have searched Google and also this Forum but don't see anything that could help me out here, does anyone have any ideas ?

After speaking with the developer of the app it became clear that for some reason when launching the app I was being navigated to the incorrect page, looks like you go right ahead and configure the SNMP from within the Splunk Manager, data inputs option.

Not sure if this is specific to my system or if many users get this issue however I consider this closed even though it is potentially a work around as such, surely launching the app should navigate you to the correct configuration page ?
