Is there a way to define ownership/permissions for each role on Splunk?

Hello,

Is there a way to define ownership/permissions for each role on Splunk?
The problem is, we want to have a couple of roles with the 'Edit Roles' capability but only for some specific roles each.

You can't define permissions on a role object.

If you could, any non-admin user capable of editing a role would have the ability to effectively become admin by adding capabilities to that role...
