I am calling from a large VOIP network. My outgoing phone number is different from my actual desk number. When i call Splunk Support the new phone systems does not recognize my number since it it the general outgoing number. How do I fix this so I can call into splunk support?

hi hartfomi,

if the system doesn't recognize your phone number, it is supposed to offer you an option to enter the phone number associated with your entitlement. is this not happening? either way, if you are not recognized by the system, you should be abe to leave a message. please provide your contact and account information, and someone will absolutely call you back.

piebob is right, if the system does not recognize your number it will prompt you to enter it. This number should match the number associated with your support profile. You can check this number in the Support Portal under the My Profile section

I did leave a message and as of now no call back. The system did not prompt me to enter a number.

I will call back and leave another message with my entitlement number and call back number.

I can put my general call number in the support portal but it will not be of any use when trying to contact me directly.
