Is there a way to email more than 10K results

sendemail command limits to 10k events. This number makes my automates search emails imcomplete. Is there anywhere I can change/raise this limit somewhere?

You can change the limit by setting action.email.maxresults under the saved search's settings in savedsearches.conf.

From the documentation it looks like this was only added in 6.0 Any chance it works in the 5.x verrsion and just wasn't documented? Or is this yet another reason to hurry our upgrade project along?

can you put the events into an html file (formatted as html) and send the html as attachment to the users?

I'll try this but I'm fairly certain that it's not going to work because that limit was already set to 50,000 and all emails were being truncated at 10,000. I'll post again if it ends up working.

Try setting this to a higher number, in limits.conf

max_action_results =
* The maximum number of results to load when triggering an alert action.
* Defaults to 10000

I'm trying to figure this out also. We work in an environment with >80,000 users and >100,000 endpoints so we regularly need to run automated reports that exceed the current 10,000 row limit. I'm not having any luck figuring out how to get around this and desperately need to.
