Can't get free license

Hello,

I installed Splunk at 26.09.2013, than I didn't login to my Splunk web-interface for a long time. And now I login at it and see that my enterprise trial license expired at 21.01.2014. I navigated to Settings > Licensing, in section Installed licenses I saw that Splunk Free license is installed and it's expiration time is 2038-01-19 07:14:07+04:00. Than I click Change license group and switch my license type to free from enterprise. Then I returned to Settings > Licensing and saw that my license type became free instead of enterprise, but it expiration time still Jan 21, 2014 7:27:19 AM. Please tell me how I can prolong my free license? Thanks in advance.

Does anyone know why after switching to Free license group the expiration date didn't change?

Yes, I restarted Splunk after license group changing.

Thanks for your replay, I uninstalled my Splunk, downloaded the latest version and install it again. Then I switch my license from enterprise trial to free according this instruction: http://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/Splunk/6.0.2/Admin/MoreaboutSplunkFree#How_do_I_switch_to_Splun.... But the expiration date is still May 2, 2014 7:25:13 AM i.e. I'll be forced to reinstall Splunk after 2 months.
