Web Framework MultiDropdown

In the documentations for the web framework components it says that the MultiDropdown component has a "minimumResultsForSearch" parameter, but when rendered it doesn't offer a search bar like the single dropdown component.

Why is this? And is there a simple way to extend the MultiDropdown component to include search functionality?

I've looked through the code, but it looks like the html and search code are defined outside of the MultiDropdown view making it rather difficult to modify or extend.
Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for asking the question - the answer has two parts:

  1. That particular option is not valid for multi-choice dropdowns (only single-choice ones), and is a bug in our documentation. We will fix this shortly!
  2. All multi-choice dropdown views automatically have a search bar. You can simply type in the dropdown and it will search the choices for you. This is as opposed to the single-choice dropdown, where a search bar is rendered separately.
