Hello,

When I tried to generate an encrypted password for IMAP App, an error ocured, and I still can't get the password.
Does anybody know what this error means?

Thank you.

IMAP App用の暗号化されたパスワードを作成しようとした際に、下記のようなエラーが発生し、作成できませんでした。
これを回避するためにはどうしたらよいでしょうか。

Enter it one more time to make sure you typed it in correctly:Can't open file /etc/auth/splunk.secret
Error getting password
140420298954568:error:02001002:system library:fopen:No such file or directory:bss_file.c:126:fopen('/etc/auth/splunk.secret','r')
140420298954568:error:2006D080:BIO routines:BIO_new_file:no such file:bss_file.c:129:

Copy the big ugly string on the line above and paste it into
imap.ini as the value for xpassword.
You can test that it works by running ./imaplaunch.sh

I figured it out by myself.
I could generate it after I ran "python bin/getimap.py --debug".
However, IMAP App doesn't index on splunk, I don't know why.

Thank you very much.

I also found that you need to insert the SPLUNK_HOME ENV variable.

Run: source $SPLUNK_HOME/bin/setSplunkEnv

Then try to generate the password.
