Does Splunk have the capability to generate an artificial workload to feed as input to the indexer(s)? This would be used to validate that Splunk is installed and functioning correctly. Maybe there's a equivalent functionality somewhere that I haven't seen in the documentation.
Thanks.

Another possibility is the Splunkit app.

Thanks for the responses. Neither immediately shows up in a splunk webpage search.
