Deployment Architecture

List deploy-clients seems to truncate results

I have about 55 deployment clients contacting a single deployment server. I can see updates being made on all of my clients. So everything is cool there.

The issue I have is when I run ./splunk list deploy-clients from the CLI. I always get back the same 10 deployment clients. Which doesn't look correct based on how my updates are getting pushed.

What am I missing?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Yes, that is a known bug and the fix is currently targetted for a Dev stream after 4.2. There will be a new 'Deployment Monitor' app that we can add some views to that will display this information. We will request that this work be completed before the 4.2 release, but no guarantee it will make the cut.

For now, you can run a Splunk search on the splunkd.log to see which deployment clients have checked in, but I think you can only confirm the apps that have been successfully deployed if you enable DEBUG logging for the DeploymentServer processor
