Hi,

I am trying to install the DBCONNECT app in the distributed environment and I am getting following error when i am trying to configure it. I tested it single instance of splunk and it worked. But when i deploy in the distributed environment i am getting error.

Encountered the following error while trying to update: In handler 'localapps': Error while posting to url=/servicesNS/nobody/dbx/dbx/install/java

any help to solve this is greatly appreciated.

i try server-jre-8u20-windows-x64.tar and working

by distributed, do you mean search head pooling?

Are your Splunk instances running as admin, or did you change the service username?

okay, got it. Did you do the third step in those directions?

Yes I mean Search head pooling. I am not sure what you mean by splunk running as admin, I dint change any service user name. Splunk is running on Linux as a generic user.
