I set up "Splunk-Twitter Connector app" now.
"Twitter application OAuth settings" completed.
When you save,the page displays as shown in the following message.
Any help here?

Go into your $SPLUNK_HOME/etc/apps/twitter2/local/ directory and find the app.conf file. When you open it, look for the line that starts with [credential:
If that does not work, then I would suggest that you install the Rest API app and use it to connect to your twitter account details. Then use the inputs to populate the inputs.conf file for the twitter2 app.
You are probably running the Twitter app on Splunk 6 on Windows, which is a configuration with known issues.
The latest Splunk version that the Twitter app currently supports is Splunk 5. Please try again on Splunk 5 or another Splunk version listed on the app page: https://apps.splunk.com/app/1162/
I have the same error I found that directory what am I suppose to do with file?
I deleted the old "twitter2" app, reinstalled and the the setup worked.
I'm trying to make it work on Splunk 6.0.1: could this be my problem?
