Format my view like the main launcher page in 6.0

I've been looking in the splunk dashboard examples and I'm trying to find the example that mimics the main launcher page but I haven't yet found it.

Currently, I have a nav UI setup with keyword sorting of saved searches and I'd like to convert those into panels on the page but have them movable like the main search page but I haven't been able to find that example. Has anyone been successful in finding this? the home.xml file seems to just point to a template in html but I'm assuming theres a way to do this in xml?

There is no straightforward way to do this in XML. Many of the new pages in the Splunk 6 interface were written in HTML/Javascript from the ground up to allow for the specific behaviors that we were trying to achieve.

There may be ways through customization that you can get close. I will point some of our Web Framework and Simple XML experts at this question.
