Hi Guys,

I am relatively new to Splunk for monitoring ,although I have past experience in Hyperic HQ for monitoring resources availability,But now I have to achieve it through splunk,So I want to know that can we achieve the same in splunk enterprise also.

Can you please provide me links/steps on how to solve above problem?

Thank you very much for your help!

It is a very generalized question so hard to give you specific advice. What is it you are trying to monitor specifically?

You can start here:
http://www.splunk.com/view/infrastructure-monitoring/SP-CAAAHXJ

Or here:

Adrian,

Thank you so much for your reply.
If I go to my specific requirement,I want to monitor all running services' status like Cassandra,jboss,rabbitmq,nginx,mysql... etc.. on all nodes of my cluster.
