Any relation with CVE-2000-0203?

Hi!

We had a question from our security department whether splunk v5.0.3 has
any vulnerability for CVE-2000-0203.

I believe that this case is for Trend Micro and has nothing to do with splunk but
want to ask for opinion if there is any vulnerability with malformed data.

Thanks,
Yu

According to the NVD (http://web.nvd.nist.gov/view/vuln/detail?vulnId=CVE-2000-0203), this is specific to Trend Micro Office Scan, and has nothing to do with Splunk (your security department should be all over this anyway).
