Hey there,

I need to be able to color a specific text in a table based on condition. For example, color the word 'root' in red or color the word 'accept' in green. I was looking at rangemap but seems like it only works with numeric values.

Thanks for your help in advance.

See http://splunk-base.splunk.com/answers/83206/color-in-a-table-based-on-values for a simple approach that allows you to use CSS selectors to update colors in SimpleResultsTable.

I think the simple else way would be to use range map. The other way would be do build your own application.js and application.css which would over ride the default behaviors. I done very similar task modifying single value panels.
