When i installed TA-ciso-esa and enable its UI ,it will give 404 not found error and the browser URL is having a page referenced at last which i couldnt found anywhere in TA's cisco folder.
For Example,
Installing one app Splunk_TA_f5-bigip or Splunk_TA_cisco-esa is no issue.
However when install both of them Splunk_TA_cisco-esa gets wrong URL.
For example, after installing both of them, and when click Splunk_TA_cisco-esa, the web try to open http://localhost:8000/en-US/app/Splunk_TA_cisco-esa/Servers
and fails with "404 Not Found"
here severs.html is found in big-ip but not in cisco-esa
how to change redirection url?
(I want to change the redirection url for cisco to "localhost:8000/en-US/app/Splunk_TA_cisco-esa/search" when i click it from apps dropdown )
-There is one option to change permission scope for user interfaces but i dont want to do it for every app just for using cisco TA..
This issue can be reproduced by using ta-f5-bigip 2.5.0 and ta-cisco-esa 1.2.2 and splunk version 6.x .
The Splunk Add-on for Cisco ESA is not intended to be visible in Splunk Web, so there is no UI to show. When a non-visible add-on is accidentally set to be visible, you'll see the kind of behavior you've described.
To turn off visibility:
1. Go to Apps > Manage Apps.
2. Find the row for the add-on you are working with and click Edit properties.
3. Under Visible, choose No, then click Save.

If you are looking for instructions on how to configure this TA, start here: http://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/AddOns/released/CiscoESA/Installationsteps
It may help others to reproduce if they know what version of add-on & Splunk are being used.
I have edited question
Thanks.
