Receiving the follow error when trying to install JMX app We get the following error message in our splunkd.log. What troubleshooting steps should I take to diagnose the problem?

That is not an install error.
You are using the default config.xml and are polling some JMX attributes that you do not have in your environment.
You should tailor the config.xml file to be specific for the MBeans in the target JVM that you are polling.

Please post your xml to configure the jmx listener, as well as inputs, props, etc too
