Does Cluster Master display in Manager?

I have set up a three node cluster on Windows Server 2008 R2 Sp1- 1 Master and 2 Peers. In the Splunk Manager, I can see the 2 peers, but the Master does not seem to display. Is this normal? Is the cluster master "hidden" from the Manager or should I be able to see it? Also, do all cluster nodes appear as Peers? Even the master? If they all display as peers, then one node may not be in the cluster and I will need a way to troubleshoot the cluster. Cluster troubleshooting technique help would be appreciated. thx.

On what node are you viewing the Manager? The master? If so, the Clustering dashboard should be showing you details on the master. See the screenshot near the start of this topic: http://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/Splunk/5.0/Indexer/Howtomonitoracluster

If you're viewing the master on a peer node, you should see the master node location. (See http://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/Splunk/5.0/Indexer/Viewthepeerdashboard)
